The Hot Club of Baton Rouge is a group of musicians paying homage to an establishment in Paris, France that wanted an orchestra of its own to showcase the new music coming out of America, JAZZ. Featuring a combination of Roma Gyspy folk music and American “hot jazz” creating the musical movement of Jazz Manouche; which includes the traditional guitar choices of “Petit Bouche” as well as violin, upright bass, and accordion and soprano sax. The biggest departure is the addition of a drum set! This Gypsy Jazz Ensemble is sure to bring musical excitement to experience and enjoy.
